I fell in love with sports long before I ever stepped in front of a camera. For me, it was never just about the final score, it was about the energy in the stadium, the untold stories behind the athletes, and the moments that make people feel something bigger than themselves. That passion is what led me to pursue Sports Media Broadcasting at Oklahoma State University.

But my journey didn’t start on camera.

Before stepping in front of the camera, I built my foundation behind it. Through more than three years with Orange Power Studios, I’ve worked cameras, captured audio at press conferences, helped run replay and graphics, coordinated commercial breaks for ESPN+ broadcasts, and worked in the control room on game days at Boone Pickens Stadium. I’ve been part of productions across football, basketball, baseball, softball, and wrestling.

Each production has taught me something new about preparation, teamwork, and performing under pressure.

That behind-the-scenes experience has had a huge impact on the way I show up on camera. It’s given me a deeper understanding of the full production process and helped me become a more thoughtful, well-rounded storyteller. As the Big 12 weekly recap anchor for The Poke Report, I had the opportunity to write, film, edit, and present original weekly segments. That role helped me grow more confident in my voice and confirmed that this is exactly what I want to do.

My goal is to become a sideline reporter or sports anchor who goes beyond the highlights. I want to tell the stories that bring the game to life and help audiences connect with the people behind every moment.

I’m currently looking for employment for May 2026
