Sideline reporter at heart

I fell in love with sports long before I ever stepped in front of a camera. For me, it was never just about the final score, it was about the energy in the stadium, the untold stories behind the athletes, and the moments that make people feel something bigger than themselves. That passion is what led me to pursue Sports Media Broadcasting at Oklahoma State University.

But my journey didn’t start on camera.

For more than three years, I’ve worked behind the scenes with Orange Power Studios, learning the heartbeat of live sports production from the inside out. I’ve operated cameras, captured audio at press conferences, run replay and graphics, coordinated commercial breaks for ESPN+ broadcasts, and worked in the control room at Boone Pickens Stadium during high-pressure game days. I’ve helped bring basketball, baseball, softball, wrestling, and football broadcasts to life — often in fast, chaotic environments where precision and teamwork are everything.

Understanding production first has made me a stronger storyteller.

When I step on camera, I don’t just see a lens, I see the entire operation behind it. As the Big 12 weekly recap anchor for The Poke Report, I wrote, filmed, edited, and delivered original segments each week. That experience sharpened my voice, strengthened my confidence, and reinforced what I love most: connecting audiences to the emotion, preparation, and grit behind every game.

I bring energy. I bring detail. I bring preparation. And above all, I bring passion.

My goal is to become a sideline reporter or sports anchor who does more than report highlights. I want to tell the stories that make the highlights matter.

I’m currently looking for employment for May 2026
